There's no point in comparing the reincarnations. They're all different. And Matt Smith is following what others write. Someone else writes an episode and he does the script.
Just because he's not angsting the entire time like David Tennant doesn't mean he's a bad actor/Doctor.
David Tennant was brilliant. He's gone now. End of story.
I bet you're one of those people who doesn't like Christoph Eccleston either (who was fabulous in his own way) because he's not David Tennant.
